Is technology devouring our identity?
A while back, one of my business mentors offered a gentle but welcomed admonition not to forget the 80-20 rule—80% of your productivity comes from 20% of your work effort. The context for this was that, as a creative, it’s especially important to recharge my batteries if I want to remain sharp and effective. But he also was reminding me that life is more than just work. He’s right, it is. As important as Taproot Creative is to me and as seriously as I take my work and my reputation, this job isn’t who I am—it’s just what I do.
Taproot Creative Taps New South Florida Regional Director
Taproot Creative announced today its expansion to South Florida with Tajiana Ancora-Brown named regional director of South Florida. Ancora-Brown is based in Boca Raton where she oversees business development in the region and provides Taproot Creative’s clients with marketing and communications services.
Keep It Simple
Communication shouldn’t be about the pomp and circumstance surrounding the thing you create. It should instead be about what’s being said. It’s simple, really. No amount of distraction will make something bad into something good. Just as important, an overabundance of noise will often dilute the very thing that you’re trying to convey by drawing attention away from it.
