In 2008, Taproot Creative was hired by a start-up company that focused on raising and selling rare and heritage breed livestock, with an emphasis on poultry. It needed a strong identity and a plan to effectively promote itself to a niche market. After leading the company through a comprehensive branding session and conducting market research, we developed a logo and marketing collateral for what became known as Greenfire Farms. We also designed and built a dynamic and award-winning website complete with original photography and a sophisticated e-commerce system. With a strong brand and web presence in place, we then devised a targeted advertising campaign that utilized print and online media placement to raise brand awareness and drive sales. Within a few short months, Greenfire Farms held a majority share of the market, becoming the new leader in its industry. In year two, the company increased sales fourfold.
